SUNSET WITH SHEINSIDE

The month of May has been crazy! Whole of last week was Audi Fashion Festival, attended fashion seminars and the best highlight was to attend Hussein Chalayan's fashion show right in the heart of Singapore. One takeaway from the seminar - The majority consumers today are "The Millenials" age between18-25. They are spending a lot of time on the internet and doing more shopping online than in the retail stores. I may not fall in that category. But I definitely agree with the new change in digital world. Everyone are using their mobile phone to shop even while they are walking in the malls. And I'm one of them =) 

Speaking of which, I received some parcels today. One of which was an outfit from Sheinside - Printed bomber Jacket & Overlap Shorts. With all honesty, their pieces are in good quality and very comfortable to wear. Apart from that, I even bought myself a Martin Margiela curve clutch and an oversized black blazer. Will keep it for my next post. 

DARK SIDE

Return with darkness this time. Been talking about doing a black on black look for awhile and this is my version today *finally. A combination of a long black and handkerchief hemline wrap with some silver/transparent accessories to compliment.

Aside from the look, I have a question to all bloggers/friends. As a blogger, I often struggle to find the right setting/background for the look I desire. Especially in Singapore where everywhere looks so green and tropical! It can get on my nerves on certain days. Do you have such frustrations too? Thankfully, this time I was lucky to find myself this minimalistic showroom nearby my house. I wish I’m THIS lucky everytime. In case you're wondering about the tattoo. It is not permanent. I was supporting a design community called the Dottinghill. They created a fb space for designers to post their own creations and if it generates many likes, it will be printed for sale. This wolf was my favorite among others.

SHEINSIDE PICKS

Never knew about Sheinside until few days ago. There are just too many fashion sites these days that I find it hard to keep up with. And most of the time, I tend to compare the prices across a few sites. I have to say that Sheinside has achieved a balance of both fashion forward trends and reasonable pricing. Able to look stylish without hurting your pockets too much. There's no need to wear branded clothes everyday in my opinion. It is about dressing your personality. 

I have picked out pieces that would be perfect for a weekend especially on my lazy mornings. Best of all, these clothings don't crease as much as shirts/jackets. That means no need for ironing/steaming! My aim is to look my best without looking sloppy. If you realised, I even had a color theme going on here - White, silver and blue. Can you imagine me in them? Soon, I will be receiving a parcel of surprises from Sheinside. Excited.
